When are session fees due?

        The session fee is payable before or at the time of your portrait session.  We accept credit card payments, personal checks, and cash.

When can I see my images?

         Just minutes after you portrait session we will show your images from your shoot.

How many different images can I chose?

       Our packages are designed to include anywhere from 1 to 5 poses. If that isn’t enough, additional poses can be added.

What do I do during this portrait preview session?

         During this time, photos are digitally viewed and favorite images are chosen. Your senior portrait images may be selected and ordered immediately.

Who attends the preview session?

         Your family and friends may view the images from your portrait session and can help you make your selections.

Previews may leave the studio

         Preview pages can be printed in a matter of minutes. A $100 deposit to be applied to your order is required when previews leave the studio.

When do previews need to be returned and my order placed?

        Your order should be placed within seven days of the portrait session appointment.  This schedule helps to avoid bottlenecks later in the summer when deadlines approach; bottlenecks that make all of us crazy.

When I place my order, how much is due?

         When your order is placed, any balance due is payable in full, or you may pay half down on the order date and the balance when the order is picked up.  For your convenience, MasterCard, Visa, Discover and American Express cards are accepted along with debit cards.  Checks should be made payable to James Metz Photos.

What about the Yearbook print?

         If you require a yearbook print, it will be furnished at no cost with a package order.  A yearbook print will not be delivered until your order is placed and deposits are paid.

What about complexion retouching?

         Basic complexion retouching of blemishes and lines under the eyes are included in all packages.  Additional retouching is also an option.

Are these images copyrighted?

         The Federal Government passed a law making it illegal to copy materials protected by copyright, including professional photography. Copying either your previews or finished portraits by any means, including by photocopier, digital scanning copy photography or other method is strictly prohibited.  We appreciate your cooperation and understanding with regard to copyright protection laws.

What about rush orders?

         All prices listed are for our normal delivery times.  If you require orders in a hurry, usual price increases are about 30 to 40%.  Let us know when you need orders rushed.

Can I order more portraits later?

         Yes, but your reorder prices may be different as the then current price list may have changed.  Also, you won’t get the package discounts you’ll be getting by ordering everything now.  Files are kept for 12 months after the session date.

Can I reschedule my appointment?

             If you need to reschedule your appointment, please give at least 24 hours notice so that your time can be given to someone else.

What does the Friends Special entail?

 At no extra cost, schedule your session with one or two other friends and extra poses will be taken of the group.  These portraits with your friends are life-time keepsakes and can be included in our value saving portrait packages or as originals in our multi-view portfolios.
